Our team has collectively over 40 years of experience in delivering high quality work in all matters relating to personal injury and litigation.
We have three members of the team who may work on your matter. They are usually assisted by our admin staff on a day to day basis. Regardless of who works on your matter, they will be supervised by Neelam Qadir, Solicitor / Director.
Neelam Qadir – Solicitor / Director
Neelam qualified as a solicitor in 2005 after completing her Law degree at Lancaster University. She completed her training contract at Horwich Farrelly Solicitors and worked at Simpson Millar Solicitors before opening Cheadle Solicitors in 2011.
Neelam is the head of our team and has over 20 years’ experience in Personal Injury and Civil Litigation. She enjoys dealing with Accidents at Work, Trips and Slips and medical negligence claims.
Neelam has helped hundreds of individuals receive compensation. She specialises in high value/ complex injury claims and relishes the challenges of disputed liability matters and litigation.
Nauman Hanif – Consultant Solicitor
Before Nauman qualified as a solicitor he gained a degree in Trading Standards law and experience with Trading Standards. He is a consumer law specialist. He also worked as a Fraud Investigator for one of the largest computer manufacturers in the UK. Nauman was also an accredited Counter Fraud Investigator for the local government.
Nauman has a vast amount of experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has gained accreditation from the Queen Margaret University. He has worked for an Ombudsman organisation at both Investigation Officer & Investigation Manager level being responsible for a large team of Investigation Officers. Nauman also handled cases at Ombudsman level in a temporary role.
Nauman is our Consultant Solicitor who heads the litigation department. He is multi-faceted and deals with various matters ranging from Personal Injury, Litigation, Family Law, Immigration, Wills & Probate, Intellectual Property, Serious Fraud, & Commercial law.
Nauman often attends court on behalf of both claimants and defendants.
Nauman takes pride in helping vulnerable causes and takes part in regular pro-bono work.
Linda Brathwaite – Litigation executive
Linda has a wealth of all round experience including Criminal, Matrimonial, Probate and Conveyancing, having worked for several Manchester firms.
She studied her Ilex in the personal injury department during her employment at Horwich Farrelly Solicitors. Linda worked for Horwich Farrelly for approximately 18 years, prior to joining Cheadle Solicitors in 2011 where she now specialises in Road Traffic Accidents and Civil litigation.
